Veer Punch

Snap or smooth every hit with one knob, loud or quiet.

Put Punch on a kick, a snare, an 808 or the drum bus and turn one knob: to the right for more snap and a tighter tail, to the left for smoother, rounder hits. Detection doesn't depend on level, so the quiet ghost notes are shaped just like the loud hits.

Veer Punch on a kick with the Trap Kick Snap preset: the live waveform shows each hit, the gain change below lifts every attack, with the shape, detection and output controls underneath.

One Punch knob
From snap to smooth in one move. Behind it, attack and sustain boost or cut together, tuned for drums.
Every hit the same
Attack and sustain are level-independent, so loud and quiet hits get the same shape. Learn listens to your drums and sets the detection for them.
Focus where it counts
Shape the kick and 808 range, the full signal or just the snap on top, or switch to 3-band mode with a detector per band.
Boost without overs
The Soft, Hard or Limit clip stage catches the peaks you add, so a snappier kick never clips the channel.
See the gain change
A live waveform draws every hit with the gain Punch adds or takes away, so you can see what you hear.
Start from a preset
15 genre presets (Trap Kick Snap, 808 Tighten, Snare Crack, Room Kill...) in Simple and Expert views.
